Correction - Renegades Of Girls Soccer - 9:00am - 11am Saturday Sept 23th

Hi Renegades, I hope all your goals for the 2011 session was fulfilled and if they weren't that's okay because, a new year is just about to start "try-outs" whereby you can take those goals as a starting reference for next year. The 2012 club tryouts is an ideal opportunity to showcase your skill and challenge other girls for team spots. "Renegades know coming ready to compete takes commitment and practice"

ROGS will be having a scrimmage session for those girls who would like to stay sharp, increase their intensity and receive some insight on the upcoming club tryouts and their requirements.

Scrimmage session will be from 9am - 11am, Saturday 23rd of September @ All Saints 4105 Colonial Drive, Mississauga, ON L5L 4E8 (Burnhamthorpe & Colonial) come ready for a close and intense scrimmage sessions.... age U13G, 14 and 15

We will be looking at the three levels of moving with the ball in small to large size field space.

If your friends or team mates are interested to come out and join you then the more the better... invite them!

Hi Renegades, finishing off the season strong and make a big difference on how you head into next season starts now!. Only a few games left then tryouts so, lets continue to sharpen up our under pressure ball handling soccer skills.

Through out the month of September we will be running special practice sessions dates for those girls interested in staying sharp before tryouts start. Also, next week we will be posting on are blog a wide range of club try outs for those interested.

The soccer scrimmages session will be from Wednesday 9 - 11am, 24th @ All Saints 4105 Colonial Drive, Mississauga, ON L5L 4E8 (Burnhamthorpe & Colonial) come ready for a close and intense scrimmage sessions.... age U13G, 14 and 15

We will be working on breaking down and applying  under control pressure on opponent - allowing for movement into a quick transitional attacking and striking phase.

Hi Renegades, Sorry for the late notice - sometimes you just got to role with things... to make it happen. I stand committed to seeing ROGS be the best they can be and move beyond what ever they could even imagine. Its been a few weeks since are last ROGS soccer scrimmage session.

The soccer scrimmages session will be from 9 - 11am, Wednesday 17th @ All Saints 4105 Colonial Drive, Mississauga, ON L5L 4E8 (Burnhamthorpe & Colonial) come ready for a close and intense scrimmage sessions.... age U13G, 14 and 15

With time availability ROGS will be setting some scrimmage sessions for the mornings leaving evenings open. Our first morning scrimmage session will be this Thursday 14th  9:00am - 11:00am @ All Saints  4105 Colonial Drive, Mississauga, ON L5L 4E8 (Burnhamthorpe & Colonial).

Morning practices are good even if you have a game in the evening because, the sun is not as hot as it is later on in the day the girls have more energy to burn and they can concentrate longer.   

With all those players out there competing for the ball - impacting a game allows you to stand out and that's what Renegades Of Girls Soccer (ROGS) is all about.

I hope to see the girls come out for an exciting and fun soccer scrimmage session tomorrow.

15-Year-Old Midfielder Making History

At 13, like every other thirteen year old, she was playing against other thirteen year olds. Now 15 year old Ryley Bugay, diligent and confident, starts in midfield for FC Indiana women’s team. Early this year, like many top athletes her age, Bugay faced a conflict that’s confounded some of the best athletes in North America: what sport do I play?

13-14yrs is a Good Gauge

13-14yrs is a good gauge on youth technical skill that should of been obtained from their formidable years. From 8-12rys (5yrs) are the most critical years for youth soccer players to obtain command and control of a ball. There minds and muscles are open to instructions and dexterity of the ball. As the girls head into the first years of OYSL you get a better picture of what these new generation of soccer players poses as a contribution to learning new functional demanding tactical formations. Players at this level should have there first touch and passing down to a competitive and high intensity level especially if they have spent a few years in a rep division. If they don't that's okay because, there is still time to take a step back and work on this in my view "critically fundamental area of ball skill".

It was truly random around 4/hrs notice before our official first Renegades Of Soccer session. I was quite impressed from the ROGS session announcement feedback. Nadya G talented forward from the Oakville SC U13 A team and Shanel took advantage of the wonderful sunny warm weather and competed against each other in 1v1 high intensity situations. 2011 OYSL Team List

The 2011  OYSL teams have been listed and the season is just around the corner. As for the  2011 OYSL U14 West Division  teams are made up of 4-SRSL and 2- WOYSL. For 2012 OYSL U15 promotion top 1 in SRSL and WOYSL will move up to OYSL and the top 3-4 will retain their spot in the division. Either way the only way to avoid relegation this year is to make it in the top 3 positions in 2011.

Social Soccer Scrimmaging

Off and going... I'm excited about starting this blog - mainly because of what I'm about too bring to youth girls soccer competitiveness and to the Canadian national woman's soccer talent pool. As this blog takes shape I will have a better comprehension of what distinct form these two goals will take on.

Let me commit to something before this blog starts motoring - sacrificing is a part of life, especially for those important to us or we love. I felt it was time to put my coaching passion on hold so, my daughter Shanel could have the opportunity of playing soccer at a more advanced level than (Rep Premier) what she would have been playing  with me if  I was still her coach " I do miss coaching".

However... Shanel is now a provincial player this year (great accomplishment) and she is going to require or I would love for her to have a group of advance and competitive girl soccer  players scrimmaging and training with her at game like intensity as much as possible.

Because... I haven't  seen a lot of kids (girls) in the park or school yard playing pick up soccer on her days off team training.  Shanel and I  feel it would be fun to have some sort of outlet that can instantly connect and rally advanced local girl soccer players with the same interest and thought to meet up and scrimmage together.

Well...Renegades Of Girls Soccer is that outlet  utilizing the fun aspect of social media avenues (Facebook, Twitter  Blogger and etc) to connect with committed girl soccer players. Allowing them familiar, easy and convenient access to stay in touch with us and get instant alert of scrimmage's location and  time.
